Club Facilities

The Caledonian offers Members a range of first-class facilities and services including a dedicated Business Centre, Library, accommodation, Dining Room & Bar, snooker room, outside terrace, changing rooms with showers and access to Belgrave Square gardens for tennis and outside gym – everything to make Members’ lives easier.

 

Business Centre

The Club has a well-equipped Business Centre on the lower ground floor which offers the perfect flexible working environment for freelancers and professionals on the go. Facilities include desktop PCs, network printers, small private meeting space, complimentary hot drinks and secure wi-fi.

Library

Although classically styled, the Library is a more recent addition to the Club, only built in 2006 as part of the new wing development, which saw a new 5-storey structure put in place. With the expected focus on Scottish literature, the Library has well over 3000 books and is open to Members wishing to read, browse and borrow items of their choice.

Accommodation

For comfortable overnight stays the Club has 39 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms offering a range of accommodation options from cozy single rooms and spacious Club doubles up to our stylish signature Suites for those wanting something extra special. All accommodation bookings include our delicious full Scottish breakfast – the perfect way to start the day!

Members Dining Room

Situated on the first floor the Members' Dining Room is one of the main features of the clubhouse. Originally a ballroom in the days when 9 Halkin Street was a private residence, the room is elegant and oozes historic charm. Competitively priced classic British lunches and dinners, with a Scottish twist, are served Monday to Friday.

Members' Bar

The Club’s Bar is conveniently on the ground floor and prides itself on its impressive collection of whiskies with over 200 different varieties available. Members enjoy the benefits of a real fire during the winter months while for the rest of the year it’s the social heart of the Club, where Members enjoy socialising and the benefits of the extensive drinks menu.

Terrace

During the warmer months our outside Terrace comes into its own, a tranquil haven where Members and their guests can relax while enjoying an alfresco drink or something tasty from the seasonal Bar menu. Summertime Club events on the Terrace also prove popular especially the summer BBQ, which traditionally features good food, drinks and live music.

Snooker Room

For those Members with a love of the green baize the Club’s snooker room, with full sized table, situated at lower ground level, is the place to be. The Caledonian has a friendly and welcoming Snooker Society who regularly play against other London Clubs and compete in local leagues and mini-tournaments.

Belgrave Square Gardens

One of the major benefits of Club membership is access to the beautiful Belgrave Square Gardens, one of the private garden spaces only available to local residents. Thankfully our proximity to the square gives our Members this privilege where they can enjoy the outdoor gym, tennis and a quiet space to relax and unwind.
